Dan with AUS team mate Craig Jones after their win in the Elite Double Scull at the 06 NSW State Championships. Dan also won the Elite Quad and Men's Eight and was second in the Elite Single Scull.

Kylie Grant and Elsa O'Hanlon who won both the Elite LW Double Scull and the teamed with ANU and Mosman to win the Elite Lightweight Women's Quad Scull

Olympic Silver Medallists at 06 Champs

Two Olympic silver medallists together at the 2006 NSW State Championships. Dan Burke, on left No 7 from the Aussie eight at Sydney presented the medals to the winners of the 2006 Men's Elite Eight from Sydney University. Tom Herschmiller, Canadian silver medallist from the coxless four in Athens rowed in the university crew and received his championship medal from Dan.
