Francis Hegerty, Cam Mckenzie McCarg and James Marburg confer with coach Tim Conrad at Penrith 12th July 09. The crew are in training for the 2009 Worlds in Poznan where they hope to take their first step towards winning their event at the 2012 Olympics.

Rowing NSW 2009 Awards

Francis Hegerty of Sydney Uni awarded 2008-2009 NSW Oarsman of the Year. The award was made jointly to Francis and Matt Ryan. At Beijing in 2008 Francis and Matt won silver in the Men's Four and earlier in the year won their event at the Lucerne World Cup.

Bronwen Watson of Sydney Uni awarded 2008-2009 NSW Oarswoman of the Year. In 2008 Bronwen won her second World Championship in the Women's Lightweight Quad.
