Strong Performance by Boat Club Rowers at Small Boats Regatta

Very hot weather greeted competitors at the Rowing NSW Small Boats Regatta on Saturday. The near 40 degree day made it hard work for all competitors and their coaches. NEW BOATSHED NEARS COMPLETION IN BURNS BAY

Burns Bay just off the Lane Cove River has been the site of flurried and methodical building activity this year. Beginning in February Adco Constructions, the contractor for the new Sydney University boatshed, moved into the site and began demolishing the foundations of the old boatshed destroyed by fire in March 2006.
