Ed Noel at SU Sports Awards Dinner

Ed Noel, centre in photo from the Sydney Uni U 20 team received a Sports Scholarship in Soccer at the 2005 SU Sports award dinner.
Ed the son of SUBC long term Vice President, Chris Noel and the nephew of SUBC double Kings Cup Winner and '76 Olympian, Chris Shinners has the attributes at 1.9 + metres for rowing but instead covers the left forward position for SU Soccer under 20's. Other rowing pointers include Ed's hairdo - modelled on the famous blond Afro of SUBC national representative of the 1970's Ted O'Loughlin.
Ed and his teammates including Blair and Elias, in photo, are near the top of the Winter Super League U20's just one point behind leaders Dulwich Hill after ten rounds of the 2005 season.
